I just received my very first Furls order...decided to treat myself to one of each color in the metal Streamline, in my most used sizes...I'm happy to report that they DO INDEED live up the the hype!!! I'm floored by the difference from my previous favorites, Tulip etimo & Clover Amour!!! I am working on a crochet afghan kit that uses Red Heart Roll Will it Melange, and even with my favorite hooks, I was having a really rough time...was pleasantly surprised to receive my order two days early, and immediately tried the new hooks...what a DREAM!!! I was using the best expletives possible as the hook glides through like a dream...and I IMMEDIATELY noticed my stitches looked so much uniform!!! I'm using the knotted double crochet stitch, and just WOW!!! Definitely a luxury item worth every penny!!!

I'm new to Furls hooks and I am absolutely addicted to these hooks especially the metal hooks. I have the silver and onyx hooks and I have my eyes on the Blush Hooks, will probably get a blush hook in a size I do not have in my arsenal of Furl hooks. I can't wait to see what will be the next color of metal hooks that you all put out. Thank you Furls for making such awesome hooks and Mrs. Deveter for doing these Live videos.

Hi. I wasn't able to join your live today 🙁. But I just finished watching it. I just love your lives/videos. Oh my gosh the new hooks that blush color is beautiful, I'm going to have to get one to go with my other Furls Metal Hooks (Silver & Onyx). I'm a newbie to Furls hooks but let me tell you I'm addicted to these hooks, in my opinion they are the best hooks I have ever used. In todays video you were speaking about all the different yarn fibers and you specifically mentioned about how you can't use yarns from animal fiber then you mentioned about Alpaca and yes this fiber is not like wool as it does not have the lanolin and its lighter, warmer and a strong fiber. How I know this is because I use to have a very small Alpaca farm here in Ohio and I would take my Alpaca fiber to a local fiber mill and have it processed into yarn. So I have some hanks of my Alpaca yarn and I would love to send you a couple so you can check it out and see if you like this fiber and you can then see its differences from that of wool fibers. Now all of my hanks of Alpaca yarn are light to medium brown color. FYI I'm not some crazy person I just wanted to share this yarn if your interested just let me know where I can send it and this is at no cost to you. This allows you to try the yarn before you invest in Alpaca yarn which is rather pricey. Thanks again for the videos you do they are so enjoyable. Have a great weekend! 😀🧶

Your starting chain must be divisible by 11, and then you add 2 (one chain to make sure you always end on an increase, and one chain to turn your piece without decreasing by a stitch). If I wanted to make a pattern with a minimum of 200 stitches (let’s say a purse strap) I would need 209 stitches plus 2. Because the pattern repeats every 11 stitches, but the chained stitch is functioning as the 3rd single crochet when she puts 3 single crochets into a single stitch (like and increase). Or at least I think this is how you would do it - I’m about to test it out and was trying to figure out how many stitches I would need. Please feel free to correct me 😅
